Barbara Schleuniger

Barbara Schleuniger is a funeral celebrant and grief companion in the Baden region and throughout German-speaking Switzerland. She creates personal farewell ceremonies without church requirements, tailored to the person who has died. On request she takes on the organisation and coordination as well as the speech. She describes her way of working as calm, clear and structured; she speaks openly and directly and uses humour to create small breathing spaces. Beyond the ceremony she offers grief support in two forms: supportive conversations and body-oriented work intended to calm the nervous system. In her blog she writes about topics relating to grief, for example the physical effects of a loss.
