Christian D. Grichting

Christian D. Grichting has been conducting farewell ceremonies, independent wedding ceremonies and welcome ceremonies since 2004. His ceremonies contain no religious content and rest on a humanist stance that is neutral as to world view. He listens, asks questions and from this develops words and a running order that suit those involved. On request he provides support from the organisation through to the conduct of the ceremony. It starts with a personal, no-obligation conversation. Alongside this he runs a conversation service for people looking for someone to listen, for instance when dealing with a loss, with thoughts about their own mortality or with questions of personal advance planning. This service involves no spiritual prescriptions. A first conversation serves to get acquainted and to clarify whether and how the support continues.
