Eveline Z’Graggen

Eveline Z’Graggen is the owner of Ultimo Addio and arranges funeral ceremonies, memorial services and burials. On request she also takes on organisational tasks that relatives do not wish to handle themselves. The offer also includes funeral speeches, grief support and advance planning of one's own funeral. She studied German studies and philosophy and worked for many years as a nurse, as a midwife and in the care of older people. For thirteen years she planned and organised events for a health organisation. In Basel she has a broad local network of contacts. Her ceremonies are open to people of any religious or spiritual background. She prepares memorial services with precision and includes flowers, music and poetry in the design. She sees the funeral speech as the core of the ceremony, which should go beyond Bible quotations and a life history with dates.
