Marianne Gerber

Marianne Gerber is an independent speaker for funeral ceremonies. She takes on either the funeral speech alone or the whole ceremony, indoors or outdoors, non-denominational and in either High German or Swiss German. In her view a speech about death may be lively and should recall the life of the person who has died. Those who wish to hand over the entire organisation can leave the coordination of the occasion to her: she visits the venue, takes care of the decoration and, on request, arranges the musical accompaniment. The relatives specify what is important in the spirit of the person who has died. The collaboration includes a preliminary conversation, a concept, the writing of the speech and coordination by email or telephone. The relatives afterwards receive the speech in printed form.
