Monika Bachmann

Monika Bachmann is a certified funeral speaker and grief companion BVT. She also holds qualifications as an organiser with a federal certificate (eidgenössischer Fachausweis), as an individual psychologist in the tradition of Alfred Adler and as a commercial employee. She designs non-denominational funeral ceremonies and supports relatives in all organisational matters of the ceremony. In a personal meeting she listens to accounts of the life of the deceased person and discusses the order and design of the ceremony. The wishes of the relatives are meant to shape the ceremony, even if they are unconventional. She holds farewell ceremonies in the open air, at the cemetery, at a tree grave or at another meaningful place. A second focus is provision for the event of death. Here she records the farewell wishes during the person's lifetime in a funeral dossier which contains, among other things, the funeral directive, the patient decree and the advance care directive.
