Monique Renold

Monique Renold from Windisch is a certified funeral speaker and ritual specialist. She designs independent funeral ceremonies and farewell rituals, for example when no church-led ceremony takes place after someone has left the church. Her services comprise three forms: a simple funeral speech at the grave, an individually designed farewell ceremony and a farewell in nature, in which the ashes are entrusted to a body of water or to the roots of a tree. She completed the Fachschule für Rituale in summer 2021 as a specialist in rituals; in addition came the training as a funeral speaker and a seminar in accompanying the dying. From 1998 to 2018 she managed a specialist bookshop for education in Zürich. She is a member of the Verein TrauerrednerInnen Schweiz, the Ritualverband Schweiz and the Berufsverband Schweizerischer ZeremonienleiterInnen.
