Rachel Gogniat

Rachel Gogniat designs independent ceremonies and sharing circles under the name L'Eclaircie, from Les Monts-de-Corsier in the canton of Vaud. Her services cover weddings, the welcoming of a child, the renewal of vows, the blessingway or baby shower, and funerals. She draws on her experience as a stage artist, organiser, writer and multilingual speaker. Her work begins with listening to the people she accompanies, then she helps them choose the gestures, words and intentions that suit them. Her ceremonies have no religious connotation and can incorporate contributions from loved ones, several cultural traditions or two languages. The sharing circle she offers is a more intimate and participatory form, one-off or regular.
