Rita Scheurer

Rita Scheurer is a speaker for farewells, welcome celebrations and life stories in Bern and the surrounding area. She is a certified funeral speaker (Zeremonien Akademie, 2021) and a trained grief companion (Schule Trauer.Leben.Lernen of Monica Lonoce, 2024). In addition she holds an MAS in Adult & Professional Education, a DAS in supervision and organisational development, and has experience as a qualified nurse, coach and adult educator. It begins with a conversation in which the relatives talk about the life of the deceased person. For this she selects texts and music and designs the ceremony, in which smiling is also allowed. She holds funeral ceremonies in nature by the Aare, in church or at the cemetery. She also offers grief conversations and longer-term grief support and records life stories during a person's lifetime.
