Roxane Bischof

Roxane Bischof is an independent secular celebrant working in French-speaking Switzerland and neighbouring France. She creates wedding ceremonies, ceremonies for the arrival of a child and funeral tributes, and remains open to other occasions. She is a member of the Célébrys association. She studied French and history at the Faculté des Lettres of the Université de Lausanne, then worked in teaching. It was after attending two secular ceremonies that she turned to this profession. Her approach has no religious connotation and is based on listening and exchange, in order to tell the story of the people concerned. Together with them she devises a symbolic gesture or a contribution from someone close to them and writes the ceremony, taking care that her own values do not interfere with theirs.
